Barn Youth Skills Rides are back!
Starting up July 6th and running for 6 weeks, every thursday evening, PACA and the Barn's 2nd round of this seasons Youth Rides will take place in the Three Blind Mice.
The rides are organized and lead by a PMBIA Certified Mtb Instructors who will pick a skill every week, go over it before each skill group to go off to session it with their skills respective ride leaders.
* Please Note, our skill groups have changed, please ensure you rider is in the right skill group and meets the skill level before signing up.
Intermediate - To sign up for this group, riders must be comfortable on blue single track in the Three Blind Mice. It is important to know, that if your rider is still dismounting off their bike frequently in the Mice, it may be too soon to sign them up for this group. If you are unsure if you rider is intermediate please contact one of the Instructors befor signing up.
Inter-Advanced - These riders have lots of single track experience and are very comfortable on all blue trails. These riders are ready to and wanting to start riding black trails.
Advanced - Riders signed up for this group are capable of riding almost anything in the Three Blind Mice at a comfortable safe speed.
ALL RIDERS must have a mountain bike with disc brakes and front suspension. If you aren't sure if your bike is suitable, please drop by the Bike Barn!
Riders must also have helmet (mountain bike appropriate), weather approrpiate gear, and water/snacks. Knee and Elbow pads are highly recommended.
Cost is 100$/Rider
Ages 9 & up (Some age exceptions can be made, please contact us prior to registration)
All participants must have their PACA memberships! (Youth and Family Memberships available at bikepenticton.com)
