TRAIL DAY 2: TSWEET TSUE

April 26 – PACA Trail Day – TSWEET TSUE This trail day is focused on armouring corners on Tsweet Tsue to help prevent further erosion and keep the trail riding well through the season. It’s a hands-on build day with a mix of physical work and on-trail problem solving—no experience needed, just a willingness to get after it. What You’ll Do Haul and place pavers for corner armouring Cut and trim wood for framing Shovel, rake, and shape dirt Support general trail work as needed You’ll get plenty of direction from our Trail Coordinator and have a chance to meet more of the PACA crew while you’re out there. We’ll be working together to reinforce key sections of trail and make sure they hold up to heavy use. Details Location: Poplar Grove Lot Time: April 26th, 10am - 1pm Duration: ~4 hours Apres: We'll supply lunch and refreshements at the Poplar Grove Lot after the work is wrapped up to say thanks for coming out!  Bring: Gloves, water, snacks, phone, and any small tools you have (loppers/saw/shovel/rake)

2026 Women's Full Day MTB Bike Skills Clinics  This clinic is designed to help beginner and intermediate riders build strong fundamentals and confidence on the trail, guided by Amanda’s experienced and detail-focused coaching approach. Amanda has been coaching mountain biking for years and has an incredible technical eye to help you gain confidence on your bike , while learning to ride safely and have fun! Beginner/Intermediate Riders Skills covered will include: climbing, descending, cornering, and technical trail elements As the day progresses we will seek out more challenging terrain and features and find some climbs to tackle and session. We will go over any specific skills or features participants would like to work on or session.  Participant Info:  All clinic participants should have: - A mountain bike with disc brakes. - An approved mtb helmet. - Spare tube for their bike and tools to change a flat. - We highly recommend knee and elbow mtb pads. - Individual snacks and water. - Meet at the Campbel Mt Main Lot - Current PACA Membership also required. 2026 PACA Youth Rides

PACA's Youth Rides are back!  Weekly fun youth group rides for kids ages 9 and up (Please message info@bikepenticton.com for any potential age exceptions) lead by PMBIA Certified Mountain Bike Instructors in the Three Blind Mice weekly for 6 weeks.  Thursday evenings from May 28 - June 25 Parents are responsible for getting their riders to Rusty Muffler parking lot in the Three Blind Mice ready to ride for 5:45pm.  We have 2 skill categories and it is really important that all parents read the requirements for each thoroughly before registering. If you are unsure which skills group your rider should sign up for, please email info@bikepenticton.com   Intermediate This group is for riders who have single track experience and are looking to become more comfortable with blue trails in the Three Blind Mice like terrain and/or have not ridden with other group rides. We will focus on skills such as body position, braking and gearing on intermediate terrain. This is NOT for  beginner MTB riders.    Intermediate/Advanced This group is for riders that have single track experience and are comfortable on all blue trails in the Three Blind Mice and are starting to ride some easier advanced trails or they have joined other group MTB rides. This group will focus on finding harder intermediate and advanced features on blue trails and progress their way to some easier black trails.    All riders must have current youth or family PACA membership.  All riders must have functional mountain bike with (at least) front suspension and disc brakes and approved mtb helmet and we highly recommend knee and elbow mtb pads. Not sure if your riders bike and gear is suitable? 2026 Al'PACA Summer Skills Camps

Al'PACA Camps are BACK for summer 2026! Our summer clinics are for kids aged 6 - 12yrs with beginner and intermediate options this year! Beginner (Recommended 6-8yrs) July 6-9 (4 days) from 9am to 12pm on Campbell Mountain.  July 20-24 (4 days) from 9am to 12pm on Campbell Mountain.  July 27-30 (4 days) from 9am to 12pm on Campbell Mountain.  Intermediate (Recommended 9-12yrs) July 6-9 (4 days) from 9am-12pm in the Three Blind Mice.  July 27-30 (4 days) from 9am-12pm in the Three Blind Mice.    RIDING LEVELS Beginner Riders These riders are able to ride their bike confidently but have little to no experience on single track trails! We will work on balance and braking as well as basic gearing. Younger age groups will have lots of fun breaks and play games! Beginner riders must have mountain bike style bikes with handbrakes (i.e no BMX bikes or bikes with back pedal braking). Intermediate Riders These Riders have single track experience and can (for the most part), tackle all the green and blue trails in the Three Blind Mice. We know the Mice can be tricky, so there will be lots of opportunity to session more difficult sections of the blue trails! These shredders (Intermediates) must have functioning mountain bikes with disc brakes and front and rear suspension! Exceptions - if you feel your 6-8 year old is riding at an intermediate level or your 9-12 year old is riding at a beginner level, please register your child in the course that matches their RIDING LEVEL and be sure to note that in the section that asks about riding level and experience. Participants Info: - All riders must hold current PACA Membership  - A mtb approved helmet. - We highly recomend knee pads for all (but especially younger riders). - Participants must carry their own snacks and water and appropriate clothing.   - Spare tube for their size bike tire.    Spots are limited and fill up fast!
